Bio
As outreach manager for the Northwest, Rose has a passion for meeting people where they are and facilitating the most-effective care and support. Prior to joining the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, Rose served as business development and admission director for a western Washington treatment center. Before that, Rose worked in outreach for one of the nation's largest outpatient providers of medication-assisted treatment. As a certified community health worker, Rose provides education, support and care coordination for individuals in need throughout the Northwest.
Before making Seattle her home, Rose lived in China and Japan and studied in Singapore. She holds a master's degree in educational studies, and she taught at Shenzhen Polytechnic University. She also worked as a freelance writer for magazines and owned her own company producing events. Rose's diverse background and interests reflect her commitment to serving communities and making a meaningful difference in the lives of those facing challenges.
