Dr. Trevor Buser is a counselor educator, higher education administrator, and licensed professional counselor. He joined the Hazelden Betty Ford Graduation School as Dean of Academic Affairs in 2024. His scholarly activity has focused on non-suicidal self-injury, behavioral addictions, and counselor training. He has published widely in professional journals and counseling publications. He also served as editor-in-chief of the Journal of Addictions and Offender Counseling, and is a past president of the International Association of Addictions and Offender Counselors.
